Custom-made RTI robotic device
This unique handmade portable robotic device was specifically designed and developed to produce consistent RTI models on location. The whole shooting process lasts only minutes and its precision and repeatability ensures ideal consistent RTI, which are unequivocally essential when one needs to compare models. Traditionally, this work requires heavy and bulky domes which only major museums can host; however, this robotic device has the precision of a dome but can be adapted to any size and orientation, allowing for superior results anywhere.
Rotational robotic device
Typical rotational devices offer neither the precision nor the smoothness required to document a fragile archaeological object. Therefore, I designed and developed a rotational robot that is impressively robust and smooth while remaining highly precise, taking up to 36,000 distinct steps per circle. It is used both for the creation of rollouts - for vases and other painted cylindrical objects – as well as for the development of interactive 2D or 3D presentations of objects.
Robotic railing system
Whenever there is need for the creation of rollouts or merges of large exterior areas on rough ground (such as an excavation or an archaeological site), this handmade robotic railing system offers an ideal solution. Designed to compensate for ground irregularity, its platform offers precise and controllable moving steps, as well as an automatically triggered camera. Whenever meticulous accuracy is needed to offset a site’s complexity, this device unfailingly provides near perfect results.
